How Much Does it Cost?
The cost of the consultation, microsuction treatment and after care advice is £95.00, payable either online prior to your appointment or by credit or debit card at the time of your appointment. (Please note we are unable to accept cheques or cash, unless by prior arrangement).
If our microsuction practitioner feels that it is necessary for you to return for a follow up appointment, this appointment will be free of charge.
If, in the rare circumstance, the practitioner feels that you then need to return for a second follow up appointment the cost will be £47.50.
Do I have to use ear drops before I come to see you?
Yes please, if you are able to use some Olive Oil drops in your ears for at least three days before your appointment it will help to soften the wax. This makes it easier for us to remove it all and makes the treatment more comfortable for you. If you need to see us urgently or there is a reason you are unable to use ear drops in your ears, please contact us for further advice.
Can my partner/friend come with me?
Yes of course. If you are at all anxious and would like someone in the treatment room with you that is not a problem.
What if I need to be seen again?
If your ears block again in the future just phone our secretary on 03455 27 27 27 for an appointment.
Do you have step-free access?
Yes, all of our locations have step-free access and disabled parking bays.

Are there any risks with microsuction?
Whenever anything is done to the ear, be it using cotton buds, ear syringing, cleaning with a probe and headlight or Ear Microsuction there are always risks. Those risks include hearing loss, tinnitus, trauma to the ear canal or ear drum, perforation of the ear drum and infection. The risks are all very uncommon and we feel that, of all the techniques available, Ear Microsuction is the safest and most effective way to clean wax from the ear canal.
