Swimmers ear parent blog (1)

Summer holidays are a wonderful time for family adventures, especially if you’ll be spending lots of time in the water. Whether you’re heading to the beach, a lake, or a pool, it’s important to protect your children’s ears from excessive water exposure, which can lead to infections like otitis externa, commonly known as swimmer’s ear.

Your child may describe symptoms of soreness, redness, or swelling of the ear if they have otitis externa. At Just Ears Clinic, we offer ear plugs that prevent water from entering the ear canal, and Ear Swim, a spray that creates a waterproof barrier around the ear canal. Additionally, Just Ears provides safe and effective microsuction services for young people aged 12-17 across our clinics on the South Coast, ensuring their ear care needs are well cared for during and after your holiday.

You can book an appointment by calling us on 03455 27 27 27.
